Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner I have been looking up different Valentine cards that Zachery could give to his little friends. I thought that I had figured out which ones I wanted to do, but there are so many choices. Zachery will have the final say of course, since he is so opinionated. HA! Just can't believe that he is only four years old and has such a strong head on his shoulders. I think that he has picked the Super Hero valentine cards. They are super cute!!! I know a little corny, oh well! HA!

These are the ones that he gave out last year. They were a big hit! The kids loved them and plus who don't love getting suckers. Plus his cousin Cole has a lot of food allergies and he can have certain kinds of suckers, so it worked out well. One of my absolute favorite blogs are Tip Junkie. Oh my word she has so many things on there it will just blow your mind away! Love it!!!

This is the one that Zachery really likes and will probably be the one that all of his friends receive on Valentine's Day! He is into the whole Super hero phase. I think it is adorable, but here are a bunch that your kids might like better.

Aren't they just the cutest and craftiest Valentine's Day cards? I just love everyone of them! It's just about what your child's interests are and what they want to give to their friends. I hope that you can use at least one of these

Kirklands coupon, anyone?

Who doesn't like kirklands? I mean I think they sale pretty much something for everybody. Well they are always sending me coupons through email, so I decided that I am going to start sharing them on here with y'all!
I normally get a couple of them a week! I wish that I had a Kirklands closer to me, now Brandon may not because I could just spend forever in that store. Ha! I love their mirrors, lamps, and furniture. A couple of years ago when I worked at Hospital Corporation of America we would get these bonus' if you got enough people to pay their bills. Well, my first one was around $300.00 (it could have been more I don't remember) so I decided to go and spruce up my house by buying new lamps, pictures, paints, rugs, and new accessories. I tell you what I had a field day in that store. I got a nice big round rug for $15.00, the picture that I have hanging in my dining room right now was over $200.00 and I got it on sale for $99.00. This girl was as happy as peach pie! Even though I have tweaked my way of decorating a bit I can still use most of the items I purchased from Kirklands. Well I hope that this coupon could be of good use to some lucky person out there. Hope one of you can use it!

Here is the coupon and the link to print it is right below, just click on that and the coupon is yours. Enjoy!!!

Pepper steak....Yum!!!!

I am always looking for new recipes to make and when I am bored I love reading cookbooks. You are probably thinking that I am one crazy chic. Ha! I have several that were given to me from Mrs. Bright she is a 97 year old lady that my mom takes care of. They are awesome! I told Brandon well if we ever go hungry I have recipes for dove, squirrel, pheasant, possum, and racoon. Ha! Yuck!!!!! No offense to anyone who eats those. I am one of those people that if you just give it to me I will eat, but if you tell me what it is, I just cringe. My mom just made squirrel the other day, but I just couldn't do it.

Well I came across this recipe in my Better Homes and Garden cookbook that my mom had gotten me several years ago. Thanks mom!!! She buys everyone a cookbook as their wedding present. They are a big hit! She even got a diabetic one for my friend because her husband is diabetic. Okay, well I got side tracked now back to the recipe. This happens to me a lot. Ha! It was a slow cooker recipe for Pepper steak. It is so easy and simply scrumptious!!!!!

Pepper steak
Prep:15 min; Cook 5-6 hours on high

1 lb. boneless beef round steak cut 3/4 to 1 in. thick
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 14.5 -oz. can Italian style stewed tomatoes, undrained.
3 tbsp. Italian style tomato paste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 16- oz package frozen pepper stir fry vegetables
(yellow, green, and red sweet peppers and onion)

1. Trim fat from meat. Cut meat into four pieces; sprinkle lightly with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet brown meat on both sides in hot oil. Transfer to a 31/2 to 4- quart slow cooker. In a bowl stir together undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meat in cooker. Top with frozen stir-fry vegetables.

2.Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours on low or 5-6 hours on high or until meat and vegetables are tender.

This recipe is so easy to make. At first I didn't like the smell of the Italian tomatoes and paste but once it started cooking the peppers tasted sweet. The rice really pulled it together. I made mexican rice as the bed, then laid the steak and peppers on top. Believe you me it is delicious!!!!!

Cleaning Plan for the Holidays......

I received an email this morning that will hopefully help all of us this holiday season. With me it takes me a little bit to figure out where to start when it comes to Extreme Cleaning like for holidays and special events.
Well this email just made my life easier because it is a 7 day cleaning plan.

Get our free 7-Day Cleaning Plan.

I am definitely a list girl.... I have to make a list for everything so I don't forget to do something. Every time  I got down to my mom and dad's I make a Mommy and Zachery list. If it wasn't for that I would walk right off and leave the luggage. HA! Matter of fact its been a couple of months ago but we were supposed to go to church with my mom and dad but the night before I realized I had left our church clothes at home. They had been ironed and hung on hangers ready to be put in the car and I left them hanging on the stairs.

Well I hopes this makes your holiday a little easier since I know you ladies have so many things on your mind.

Well, I am finally getting to post my Christmas decor pictures. Yay! I still need to get some ribbon, but Zachery has been sick this week so my Hobby Lobby trip has been postponed. Poor li'l guy!

I couldn't believe it but I actually got Brandon to go with Zachery and I to cut fresh pine from the neighbors house. We had to hike a little bit, but the fresh air was so nice. I wish I could have gotten pictures but Brandon's phone died. We had a blast! Brandon said that I cut so much pine that I was going to make the tree bare. HA! I still would like to have more to decorate with but I don't think that I could get him to go with us again.

Well I hope y'all enjoyed the pictures! Have a Merry Christmas!!!!

Letter from Santa....

Today I got this really cute email from Living Locurto. Zachery has never been a big fan of Santa Claus but this year is completely different. He loves Santa!!! We have gone to see him at the mall twice, because he had to make sure Santa knew what he wanted for christmas. HA! Plus he sent him a letter at Macy's. I have to tell you though I am very much enjoying the whole Santa thing. It is so much fun and adds a whole  other part of Christmas to enjoy.

The email is is stationary from Santa Claus. As soon as I saw it I wrote the letter to Zachery from Santa. He is going to be so excited when he gets this in the mail. I can't wait!!!!

Letter from Santa Free Printable Stationary

This just made my day...... I am thrilled that she posted this too her site! This stationary was sent all the way from the north pole and don't worry none of us are going on the naughty list because she got permission from Santa Claus to use this stationary. HA!
